Okay shoot me for going all executive decision on this, but I realised we don't have anything to lose by doing the plot in 762, but we might have something to lose if we rush to get it done in 761. Are there any major objections if we do this in 762? Personally while I'm really excited to get this done, I think we'd all benefit from having some time to plot, and hopefully it will mean that by the time the plot goes down, we'll have a healthy number of player-character objectors. Sounds like April is going to be a crazy month for most people - myself included (omg wedding planning aaaah). Does August for the big showdown sound reasonable? Hey guys! Glenmore Major Plot ProposalThanks to everyone who commented on my first journal regarding this subject! Everyone seems really positive so to make the idea clearer and more official, this journal is to officially propose the plot for everyone to make a decision on whether or not to go ahead. Henceforth follows a slightly more planned out and refined version of the idea outlined here:
There’s a lot of rehashing on the previous journal, but hopefully it’s now less of a braindump and more of a proper proposal. If you haven't read the other journal that's fine - I've tried to summarise everything below - but the initial journal goes into some more depth over certain questions/concerns so if you want more info on where this came from, the journal linked above is a recommended read!

The response was amazing, with 63 unique responses (there were a few double entries if you're wondering why that number doesn't match up with the results page on the journal above), with the following responses:
Nothing should happen - 1 vote (1.6%)
The split should happen in 761 (April) - 35 votes (55.6%)
The split should happen in 762 (August) - 27 votes (42.9%)
As you can see, the majority votes for the plot to happen, but WHEN it should happen seems very evenly split! I'm pondering whether or not to run the vote again to confirm which way the vote goes, this time with GM players/plotters only to get a better idea of who it will directly affect - does that sound fair?
Dru's super secret will be unveiled on the 23rd next week, so you'll be able to see exactly why Dru's brain will come to the conclusion that leaving is the best course of action! That will also be the point where we can start plotting details.
If we do make the split in April (bearing in mind I'll be away from dA for the entire month of May for my honeymoon!), we need to do some SERIOUS plotting REALLY fast. I reckon we could do it in time, but we'll need to come up with a tight plan and stick to it!
For this plot we also REALLY need some Dru haters, so raise your hands now if your character would gleefully like to be involved in his downfall. I'll be doing a more official headcount after the secret is revealed so we can see if any supporters would change side if they knew the truth. Rule of thumb: If your character is a traditional Glenmore, they should already disprove of Dru. I'm also aware there are a lot of NPC parents that are haters, so they'll be welcome to put their voices into the mix when the time comes >D
